Painted one painting, a pastel, of Wood Creek, a small stream in Central NY. Would like to find a good put-in place for my canoe and explore this stream, looking for more paintings. Think I'd be able to find a slew of images to paint in one day's worth of canoeing on the creek. It's ecosystem fascinates me. It's a sand-and-pine ecosystem, similar to the larger Albany Sand Plains or the much larger New Jersey Pine Barrens.
Whether I'll ever be able to find the time and money both to accomplish this project remains to be seen. I hope so.
